Jamie & Andrew: The Villa at Ridder Country Club, East Bridgewater, MA

Jaime and Andrew's wedding was the ultimate definition of a "winter" wedding.  They got married on February 8, 2013, the same day the blizzard of 2013 decided to hit!  I haven't heard how the wedding went with the driving/travel ban starting at 4PM, and power outages starting a few hours later around the South Shore, but as of 3:30PM when I finished my final delivery stop, the wedding was still on and set to start at 5PM!  The wedding coordinator, Katelyn, and the staff at The Villa were amazing.  They had the room set and ready to go like it was any other day, and were extremely professional and calm with handling the situation.
The bride's black magic rose bouquet.
The bridesmaids bouquet was made up of burgundy and plum carnations, gerbera daisies, and roses.
The centerpieces were made up of roses, lisianthus, carnations, cremon, calla lilies, and gerbera daisies.
The guest book and card table both had a taller arrangement of stock, orchids, lisianthus, cremon, gerbera daisies, and roses.  We decorated the fireplace mantels at each end of the room with varied height vases filled with submerged purple dendrobium orchids and floating candles on top (picture not shown).

I don't have any pictures of the church flowers which was my last stop of the day, because to be honest, the roads were starting to get pretty bad, and I just wanted to get my butt home and off the roads!

Nadea & Esat: Hampshire House

When Nadea first contacted me about flowers for her September wedding, she asked me to meet her at a little place called Bread and Chocolate.  Are you kidding me?  There's a place called Bread and Chocolate?  Why didn't they just name the bakery Heaven!?  If you live in Newton - check it out.  Their hot chocolate will knock your socks off!

The bride carried a soft bouquet of hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, dendrobium orchids, and cymbidium orchids.

Wrist corsage of blush cymbidium orchids

Nadea came up with such a great color scheme of white, eggplant, cranberry and blush, and it worked so perfectly with her and Esat's venue, The Hampshire House, a historical mansion in Beacon Hill.

Nadea and Esat were able to use the centerpieces for both the ceremony and the reception.  For the ceremony, the arrangements were placed around the room, on the piano and tucked into the floor to ceiling bookshelves.  The arrangements were made up of hydrangea, orchids, berries, roses, ranunculus, calla lilies and safari sunset greens.

For the ceremony we also decorated the mantle, which is where the ceremony took place.  We wanted to create a soft, elegant look with lots of orchids and candlelight to have a backdrop for the ceremony and pictures.

A close-up of all those orchids!  We used white dendrobium orchids in addition to the white and blush cymbidium orchids.

Dawn & Chris - Ocean Edge

Dawn and Chris got married down the Cape at Ocean Edge in Brewster, MA.  I've known Dawn since college, so I was so happy to be a part of this wedding!  All the bright colors and tropical orchids almost made me forget that it was pouring outside all day!  The weather did not cooperate, but I know that did not stop this couple from having a great time on their wedding day!  Congratulations Dawn & Chris!

Tricia & Adam - Ocean Edge

Trish and Adam got married at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA on Cape Cod.  The blue, green and white color scheme in a simple, understated style was everything that I love about Cape weddings!  It was such a pleasure working with Trish and Adam - congrats!
