Sharon & George: Andover Country Club

I am determined to catch my blog up this week, and first up are Sharon and George!  Sharon is actually my aunt, and I am always happy to be a part of friends and family members weddings :)  Sharon and George got married on what I think may have been the hottest day of the summer, with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Andover Country Club.  No flowers were needed for the ceremony, as the space was surrounded by blooming gardens and views of the golf course.

The bride's bouquet was made up of roses, calla lilies and stephanotis.
The bridesmaid bouquets were made up of roses, dahlias and calla lilies.
The reception centerpieces were made up of hydrangea, spray roses and gerbera daisies.

Jess & Joe: Ridge Club, Cape Cod Wedding

I met Jess and Joe at a St Patty's day party in Southie a couple years ago, and was so excited they asked me to do the flowers for their wedding.  I've been friends with Jess' sister Heidi for several years now, and I just love the whole Miller family!  Jess' favorite flowers are daisies and gerbera daisies, so those were definitely the main flowers for this wedding, mixed with lots of blue hydrangea to bring in that Cape Cod wedding feel!

Bridesmaid bouquets of gerbera daisies.
The centerpieces were a mix of two styles.  Half were a mix of hydrangea, sunflowers, gerberas, daisies and dahlias, while the others were a trio of vases of hydrangea, daisies and gerbera daisies.
Of course I forgot my camera so these are the only pictures I have of the centerpieces.

Congrats Jess & Joe!

Molly & Dave: Backyard Duxbury Wedding

Molly and Dave got married at St. John's, followed by a back yard reception in Duxbury, MA.  Molly and Dave stayed in China for a period of time, and wanted to incorporate that into their wedding, but also keep with the back yard, home-town wedding feel.  They collected a variety of Chinese vases, urns and small containers to use for the ceremony and reception flowers.

I had to post two pictures of Molly's bouquet because I was SO EXCITED we were able to get peonies  in July!  Her bouquet was made up of peonies, garden roses, hydrangea, berries and thistle.  The bouquet was wrapped in a an embroidered piece of the bride's dress, and an old piece of lace from the groom's family was pinned on the back.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of blue, white, and green hydrangea with hypericum berries.
The ceremony flowers included blue, white, and green hydrangea, bells of Ireland, delphinium, and queen anne's lace.

The centerpieces were made up of hydrangea, roses, lisianthus, hypericum berries, queen anne's lace, and accent greens.

The reception was made up of a mix of round and rectangle tables.  The round tables had one larger arrangement, while the rectangle tables had multiple arrangements.
I loved these rustic tables mixed with the weathered chiavari chairs from
Jessica Tyler from Lavishly Dunn did a fabulous job coordinating this beautiful wedding, regardless of the fact that it was 95 degrees out the day of this wedding!!

I recently received a thank you note from Molly, and just want to say how much I appreciate her kind words and what a pleasure it was to work with her and her mom over the past few months.  It is such a joy to be able to do something I love to do, but to also know how happy I made someone by doing what I love, is amazing!   Thank you and best wishes Molly & Dave!

Sarah and Matt: Duxbury Maritime School

Anyone looking for a little nautical eye candy, you've come to the right place!  The Duxbury Maritime School is one of my new favorite venues.  It's 5 minutes from my house and surrounded by gorgeous views of Duxbury harbor!  I met Sarah and Matt through a mutual friend and was so excited to be a part of their wedding!
Sarah and Matt got married outside on the back patio under a chuppah, which was built by the groom and the bride's brother and father.  We then decorated the front with lots of blue hydrangea.
Cocktail hour was also outside on the back patio deck.
Smaller versions of the centerpieces were used for the cocktail hour tables.
I am a huge fan of all things nautical or beachy, so of course I was obsessed with these table numbers!!

The bouquet was wrapped with lace trim from Sarah's wedding dress.
MOH bouquet of calla lilies, roses and freesia.
The MOH and Bridesmaid bouquets were wrapped with leftover fabric from their dresses.

I loved all the bright yellow against the navy dresses!

Tricia & Adam - Ocean Edge

Trish and Adam got married at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA on Cape Cod.  The blue, green and white color scheme in a simple, understated style was everything that I love about Cape weddings!  It was such a pleasure working with Trish and Adam - congrats!
